South Toms River: Where Yiddish Is Not Spoken

I was driving behind this truck, thinking, "Geez, the ballplayer J.J. Putz was bad enough (especially when he stunk up the joint in NY) but 'Putzmeister'?"

I didn't know whether it was the name of a local company or of the machinery the truck was towing. Turns out to be a German company. Very proud of their concrete, mortar & pumps. This proves that American companies are not the only ones capable of making a language faux pas in a foreign country.
