Randall Davey Audubon Center 5/16--Hepatic Tanager
Bill was very good at imitating owls to call in birds. Necessarily, he did a western owl. Shari, as a joke, tried it when we returned to the Davey Audubon Center and damned if she didn't call in a new bird for us: Hepatic Tanager, when we were just about to give up for the day because we weren't finding much new or of interest. There were even more Pine Siskins at the feeder this day than there were when we visited about a week before.
