Idly looking at Shari's collection of refrigerator magnets while waiting for the coffee to brew, I noticed this example she picked up from one of our trips down to Delaware. I'm surprised I never "saw" it before. What struck me, of course, is the total unlikelihood of these 7 species being on one branch at the same time, anywhere. Wing to wing, no less. I guess even a great National Wildlife Refuge can't resist the urge to put out false (or perhaps they think of it as "enhanced") advertising.
I also like that, despite sitting the hummingbird on a twig, it is still about 50% larger, in comparison to the other birds, than it should be. And looking again, that's a rather gigantic goldfinch.
