Backyard 4/1--Chipping Sparrow

At last!

 I walked around Horicon Lake this morning, hoping to find some spring birds but came away with a winter list instead. But there's no place like home. This afternoon, in among the juncos, our first Chipping Sparrow appeared beneath the feeders.

As long as I was taking pictures of the chippie I figured I'd take this one of a good looking House Finch on the feeder:
